WE’RE MONROE ELEMENTARY PTA
The Monroe Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit powered by dedicated parents, caregivers, and community members working hand-in-hand with our school staff and administration. Together, we support programs and experiences that enrich our students’ learning both inside and outside the classroom. From beloved traditions like Movie Nights, Skate Nights, Bingo, Yearbooks, and Field Trips to meaningful classroom support and schoolwide initiatives, the PTA helps create moments that make Monroe Elementary a special place to learn and grow.
There are so many ways to get involved — whether you have time to volunteer, want to join as a member, or simply want to support our efforts. Membership is open to all parents, teachers, staff, grandparents, guardians, community members and any other persons that support and encourage the purpose of PTA. No state restrictions. IF YOU’RE Interested in an Executive Committee or Event Chair opportunity?
The Executive Committee at Monroe PTA is elected by our membership and is responsible for maintaining our standing with all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to, the State of Washington, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Washington State PTA, and Everett PTSA Council; planning and executing events and activities that will enrich the Monroe Elementary School community; support our students, staff, and families; and raise funds to pay for events and support each school year.
The Monroe PTA Board reports to our local council, Everett PTSA Council 7.3, and to the Washington State PTA with roles and responsibilities outlined by our council and state to ensure we are maintaining our good standing.
